My stay at Yala Peace Cottages was delightful, especially the guided walk around the nearby lake with Manju, who shared his extensive knowledge of local wildlife. The tranquil cottages offered a lovely view, and the food was simply delicious.

Wished I could stay longer!

upon checking in, they only gave me one of the two rooms I booked, ridiculous! the food was nice-ish but absolutely not enough for vegans, a real oversight. The safari guide seemed to be the only pleasant staff member. if only I had received a complimentary upgrade, I might have almost considered writing a good review, but just couldn’t.

A hidden gem near Yala

Staying at Yala Peace Cottages felt like stepping into a tranquil paradise. Manju's knowledge of the local flora and fauna enriched our experience, and each meal was a delightful local treat. Our nights were filled with laughter over refreshing welcome drinks, and the pool provided a perfect respite after our thrilling safari adventures.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, a few areas could use improvement. The bathroom cleanliness left a bit to be desired, and a bit more attention to the fridge would have enhanced our overall comfort.

Unfortunately, the pool's sharp-edged tiles were a concern. I cut myself during a swim, so it's important to keep an eye on that, especially if you're with kids.

A Nature Lover's Paradise

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of lush rice paddies! We stayed for two nights in a lovely cottage with a garden view. Manju, the owner, really made our experience special by organizing a fantastic safari where we spotted leopards and a variety of wildlife. The pool was a wonderful spot to unwind after our adventures, but just be careful of the sharp tile edges. it was a delightful stay in a peaceful, nature-filled environment.

Just a good match for a weekend breather in Tissamaharama with good value for price. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to unwind after exploring nearby natural wonders. Watch out for uneven paths after rain. it can get slippery.
